Networkable Control Surfaces
A digital control surface requires an external Input/ Output frame which is configured by the end user with logic, analog and or digital I/O cards.

A digital control surface does not contain audio but communicates with its assigned DSP mix card located in the associated I/O frame.
All mixing and functions are created within the audio I/O frame. The I/O frames can be configured to operate stand-alone or multiple frames can be “networked” through Wheatstone’s Wheatnet, Bridge or Evolution Series audio switches.

Wheatstone offers more digital audio control surfaces than all of our competitors combined!

Single Studio Setup
The I/O frames can be configured to operate stand-alone or multiple frames can be “networked” through Wheatstone’s Wheatnet, Bridge or Evolution Series audio switches.

The Next Generation of Control Surfaces

The Generation control surfaces interface with Bridge Digital Audio I/O frames and networks.  We currently offer seven different Generation surfaces and one surround surface, each giving you a different set of features for your air or production talent.  The Generation series also have the ability to share a single I/O frame with multiple control surfaces.

  • 4,8 and 12 fader frames
The GENERATION 3 packs a lot of power in a small footprint. This control surface has more power than most standard audio consoles on the market. It has four stereo program mixes, four mix-minus busses, and the ability to select any source in the Bridge network system and send it to any fader or monitor circuit.

The G-3 provides monitoring for control room, headphone and one studio, having its own source selection and talkback.  The G-3 also gives your operators individual talkback outputs to each of the 4 Mix Minus busses.

The surface intelligence allows the MXM bus assignments for a particular source to be defined in the software and recalled when the  source is called up on any fader. Settings for the same source may be different when recalled on different control surfaces in a networked system. The G-3 is available in 4, 8 or 12 fader configuration. The G-3 is ideal for production rooms and voice track studios.
