Answer

|
How do I set up to use the source selectors?
|
The front panel source selectors are designed to select the source
for two AES destinations in the Wheatstone Bridge system. Those AES
destinations are then hardwired to AES inputs 1 and two of the 5200D.
An auxiliary Wheatstone application, WSNetServer, is used to map the
Bridge AES destinations to the controllers so that a source taken from
the selector for that destination will show in the companion selector
display and also be the feed for that selector’s 5200D input.
See this application
note for details.

|
Can I use analog destinations from the Bridge with the source
selectors?
|
No. The selectors are physically tied to AES inputs 1 and 2 of the
5200D.

|
|
How do I set visibility on the source selectors?
|
Use the Wheatstone application WSNetServer.
See this application
note for details.

Why doesn’t the front panel AES input work? Why doesn’t the
rear panel AES #3 input work?
|
Internal to the 5200D is a slide switch SW1 that determines if the
AES input 3 will use the front panel AES input connector or the rear
panel AES input connectors.
