The GENERATION 3 packs a lot of power in a small footprint - more power in fact than most standard audio consoles on the market. Equipped with four stereo program mixes and four mix-minus busses, it has the ability to select any source in the Bridge network system and send it to any fader or monitor circuit.
The G-3 also gives your operators individual talkback outputs to each of the 4 Mix Minus busses. The G-3 is available in 4, 8 or 12 fader configurations.
The Generation series of control surfaces utilize popular and highly reliable TDM-based Wheatstone Bridge technology to provide tried-and-true audio I/O routing, mixing, and audio networking. The system is flexible in both configuration and size and can easily be expanded to host over 3,000 x 3,000 audio cross points.
The Bridge System has four different frame sizes available to accommodate different system needs. They are the Bridge, Satellite, E-SAT, and MicroSAT frames. Each can accommodate various I/O cards to meet the requirements of TOC and studio installations.
The TDM-based architecture of the Wheatstone Bridge system ties the elements of large audio systems together with the Bridge acting as the central routing switch for the audio to and from studios and TOC racks.
Multiple levels of redundancy is a hallmark of TDM-based Wheatstone Bridge audio networking technology. Redundant systems can consist of many possible combinations of redundant control surfaces, control surface CPUs, redundant DSP hosts, and even redundant Bridge chassis that can be connected together via dual Cat-5 links. Virtually any system can be custom configured to provide full redundancy with automatic and instantaneous switchover in the unlikely event of a single point system failure.
