WHEATSTONE'S fourth generation digital console has what you need: dual domain input modules that accept both analog and digital sources; built in I/O integration with 8 character displays: a choice of features like auxiliary sends, equalization, dynamics control and event memory/recall--all without the aid of an external computer.
And best of all, it uses Wheatstone’s exclusive VDIP® setup software, letting you easily configure individual console modules,logic modes and automatic functions.
This Traditional series of modular consoles utilizes state-of-the-art electronics throughout. 24-bit A-to-D conversion on analog inputs assures the highest quality professional digital audio internally, while sample rate conversion on digital inputs lets the console accept digital audio over a wide range of sample rates. Console output sample rate is configurable for sample rates of 48kHz, 44.1kHz, and 32kHz.
The D-8000 console can be easily interfaced to the Wheatstone Bridge System with optional X-Y controllers in either the meterbridge or in a module slot, giving instant access to hundreds of sources. Meanwhile, input channel source displays remind the operator which of those hundreds of sources are currently in operation on the console.
Other D-8000 options include DSP functions for built-in signal processing, dedicated phone channels with mix-minus, console snapshot presets tailored to individual operators, and much more!
